Being overly nice to a mean person is the best way to exact revenge, because nothing is more infuriating than someone being too stupid to understand an insult. Bake brownies for Stan in accounting when he calls you flat or give your stepson money when he slashes your tires again.
As a bonus, eventually they'll stop being mean because it's de mode being mean to the mentally slow.
