Approach every mundane task with joy and people will think you're simple and swindle you. Laugh in the face of adversity and people will think you're crazy and avoid you at lunch. Keep an open mind when meeting every stranger and you'll probably end up gagged in a camper.
It's important to see the world for what it is: a frightening, disappointing and often mind-numbing place.
I wish this one came on a poster. It's so true! Finally, someone's articulating the cold, hard truth of life.
