When you get busy it's easier to pass by the buffet and to refrain from slapping other people's children. When you get busy, you don't have time to think about your husband's lack of ambition or the breast lump you've been ignoring since last Christmas.
FYI, getting busy also has sexual connotations so don't use the phrase around middle schoolers or perverts.
