When you're feeling pressured to get involved with a cause or charity, the least time commitment is to raise awareness. People who raise awareness get credit for their philanthropy without having to collect money, organize a Bingo night, or sell magazine subscriptions. There are many ways to raise awareness, from telling the grocery store clerk to creating a Facebook group, and most don't require more than minimal effort.
Being aware of something, like lupine diabetes, does little to change the actual diabetes, but presumably the wolves are glad you're at least aware of their suffering even if you're not buying them life-saving insulin.
